From April 29, Vietnam Airlines will launch a special economy ticket class on TP routes. Ho Chi Minh City – Con Dao, Can Tho – Con Dao and Hanoi – Dien Bien.
(Artwork by: VNA) Up to now, Vietnam Airlines is the first and only airline operating a special economy class on these routes. With premium economy class, passengers will have their own check-in counter and priority tag baggage. Passengers will receive a service voucher at the airport restaurant before boarding time. Notably, before departure, ordinary passengers are given priority to board the train after and after landing, and have priority to get off the train first, which saves waiting time. On the flight, passengers are served snacks and drinks. Aircraft are fitted with separation curtains at the end of the aircraft to increase the sense of privacy and comfort for special Economy passengers. Lotusmiles members of Vietnam Airlines enjoy a mileage factor of up to 120% – 130%, much higher than the normal class of only 10% – 100%. Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 80 flights / week between the city. Ho Chi Minh – Con Dao, 5 flights / week between Can Tho – Con Dao and 21 flights / week between Hanoi – Dien Bien. Flights are operated by VASCO, a member airline of Vietnam Airlines. In addition to transporting tourists, these are also Vietnam Airlines routes to ensure traffic connection, socio-economic development of mountainous and island areas.
